Fire Station 96

This painting hangs in Fire Station 96. print available. At times we are all angels. These “angels” of the LA Fire Station No. 96 were discovered on their way to fight the huge fire of October 2008 where all the hills of the North San Fernando Valley were ablaze and the winds were clocked at more than 60 mph.

This is LA Harbor--a collage and a montage on canvas. Besides the Queen Mary, you can see San Pedro, and Signal Hill as it used to be. In the lower, left corner is Charlie, the California Harbor Seal, that was the US Coast Guard's mascot during the 60s and was allowed inside the tower. I did this painting as a tribute to my mom who loved San Pedro and its harbor sights. Prints Available
